Join us for Hedera18, the inaugural hashgraph developer conference, featuring our first global, decentralized hackathon. 1,500 developers, architects, and industry experts will gather in Dallas to learn more about Hedera, the world’s fastest, most secure, and fairest public distributed ledger. As an attendee, you will gain access to educational sessions presented by the Hedera team, industry experts, and ecosystem developers, where you will learn how to build a new class of decentralized applications. There will also be along plenty of opportunities to network with your peers and have a ton of fun. The Hedera18 Hackathon, our first global, decentralized hashgraph hackathon, gathers developers to compete in five cities around the world: Dallas, London, São Paulo, Singapore, and Tel Aviv. This two-day hackathon will give you an opportunity to build what’s next in fast-moving categories, including gaming, social causes and micro-payments. Start now to envision your next big idea for an entirely new class of applications on the world’s fastest distributed ledger platform.

You’ll get the latest updates in mainstage and breakout sessions, at receptions, through networking, and more.

Hedera Hashgraph welcomes all hashgraph enthusiasts and smart contract developers who want to learn how to build on the the new platform, Get to know the Hedera team and hear about exciting apps in the ecosystem. You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Gain insights and predictions for the future of the Distributed Ledger Technology space.
  • Walk away with successful tools to develop apps and business strategies with Hedera.

Q: Do I need to have a team to apply?

A: You can be either solo or have a team already. We will be in touch prior to the Hackathon and gather your status and plan with you appropriately. If you are aligned to a team, we will make sure you are in contact with your team members prior so you are completely engaged and ready!


Q: Do I need a project before?

A: You do not need a project, but ideas are always encouraged to bring with you. Once we contact you, you will be completely aware of what to expect while being onsite.


Q: When will we be contacted?

A: Please allow us until early August to contact you.


Q: If I am at the Dallas location for the Hackathon, do I attend the conference as well?

A: The Hackathon is a separate agenda to the conference. You will be a Hackathon attendee and not attend the conference agenda.

If you are planning to stay at the Hotel Anatole, which we encourage you do, please follow the registration link during your registration process on this site. You will directly book your hotel accommodations with the hotel this way. If you do not want to stay at this hotel, that is fine. We do not provide any further hotel recommendations.

Hedera18 has the following pricing available throughout the registration process:

  • Early Bird Pricing - First 250 registrants: $985
  • Summer Pricing: $1,100
  • Conference Pricing: $1,250

  • Global Hackathon participation (in any of the 5 locations): Free

Hedera18 encourages students to attend. Please do the following:

  • Please email us from your student email address to confirm your student status
  • We will then email you within 24 hours with a promo code to redeem your student pass!
  1. Full access to sessions, including mainstage and breakouts, along with networking with 1,500 industry peers and the Hedera Hashgraph team.
  2. Interaction with Hackathon elements for this location and updates from the four other global hackathon locations.
  3. Access to the Partner Pavilion, featuring sponsor-led sessions and fun zone.
  4. Opportunities to network with Hedera exec team members and industry media experts.
  5. Chances to earn Hedera coins by participating in sessions and activities.

Everyone attending the Hedera Hashgraph event agenda will need to be a registered attendee with a conference badge. If your guest has registered just like you, they are welcome to join the exciting event!

You will be responsible for your hotel room and accommodations. Pass does not cover the cost of your flight, hotel, or any other additional expenses.
